Bob Franklin became the Director of Missions of the Mid-State Baptist Association (formerly Macon Baptist Association) on June 2, 2004. He has served twelve years as Director of Missions for Noonday Association in Marietta, Georgia and eight years as Director of Missions in Montgomery, Alabama. He also served on several church staffs as Minister of Education.

He and his wife, Louise, have three sons; Lee, a physician in Montgomery, Alabama; David, Director of Missions for Bartow County, GA; and John, Senior Pastor at Post Oak Church in Russellville, Ky. Bob and Louise have eleven grandchildren.  bfranklin@mid-statebaptist.org

Renee joined the Mid-State Baptist Association in August of 2006. She currently serves as the Church Development Director for the MBA.  She is a Certified Sunday School Trainer and Mentoring Coach.

Originally from Alabama, Renee and her family have been in Macon since September of 2004. She is married to Travers Grant and they have one daughter named Sydney. Renee is a graduate of Auburn University.  rgrant@mid-statebaptist.org

Otis L. Andrews has served as Christian Family Counselor for the Association since October 1, 1984. He is married to the former Deidre Ann Parker of Wrightsville, Georgia. They have two married children; Kit Andrews, whose wife is Joy; and Kimberly Wrenn, whose husband is Alan.  They also have two grandchildren: Sarah and Christopher Andrews.

Dr. Andrews is a graduate of Mercer University - B.A., 1964; Southern Baptist Theological Seminary - M.Div., 1969 and D.Min., 1980. He is a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. He and his wife have served as marriage enrichment leaders for the Sunday School Board since 1976.
